Luxilon 4G Rough – 125 – String Set

Luxilon 4G Rough 125 has a the same “dented” surface texture as Alu Power Rough. This allows the string to bite into the ball more, increasing spin potential and creating a slightly softer feel.

Luxilon 4G is a monofilament co-polyester string that was designed to offer maximum tension maintenance. The molecular chains making up 4G are strategically aligned in a parallel fashion, minimizing entanglement to ensure less creep which leads to tension loss. Luxilon 4G is on the firm side of the spectrum, even compared to other co-polyester strings. However, the string still offers a good deal of playability and great durability. As with most co-polyester strings, we recommend stringing 4G with a tension that is approximately 10% lower than you would string with a nylon string.
